New Apple iPhone 15 Design Leaks

HSBC Buys Silicon Valley Bank UK for £1
In a rescue deal, HSBC bought the UK branch of Silicon Valley Bank for a little over $1. The private sale was made on Sunday night, and overseen by the Bank of England. An estimated $7 billion worth of company deposits were saved. Many of Britain’s startups, venture capital funds, and tech companies are protected and can now make payroll.

New UK Law Will Ban ‘Cyberflashing’
The British government has announced plans to create a new criminal offense; “Cyberflashing.” Under the proposed legislation, anyone who sends unsolicited sexual images online can face up to two years in prison.

Apple Announces Special Event: New Products Dropping
Next week, Apple will launch its biggest event of the year; “California streaming.” The virtual presentation will take place from the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. Media reps or outlets will not be attending. Like last year’s presentation, product launches are believed to be pre-taped segments. The entire event can be viewed from the company’s site, YouTube or the Apple TV app.
WhatsApp to Switch Off
This May, WhatsApp will introduce a new privacy policy. If a user rejects their terms of service, the company will turn off functionality. WhatsApp users will be unable to send and receive messages. Any account will be considered “inactive” if a user does not accept the company’s new terms by May 15.
